The number of verses in the quran.
The Koran consists of 114 letters:
The number of the verse is: 6.236 verse
There are number of Basmallah: 112 verses
Then the total number of verses of the quran include Basmallah is: 6,348 6.236 plus 112 = verse. Why is his only basmallah 112? When in his letter 108 letter.
This is because:
In Sura al-fatihah basmallah already counted in verse, and in a letter an nml (27) Basmallah him there are two, namely in the beginning and was not given a number, and in paragraph 30. When the Prophet sulaiman send a letter to the Queen of saba ', he is included in the count of the verses. While in the mail at-Tawba (9) Basmallah him not there, then the practical if 114 letters, his reduced Basmallah two in al fatiha and surat an naml (27) paragraph 30 is already counted in the calculation of the amount: 6.236 it. Then, with the number of his 114 Basmallah is reduced 2 = 112.
